Thank You, Kristy

Kristy,

Thank you so much for the awesome time. I really had no idea I'd find someone so much fun and easy to talk to just getting dinner at TGI Friday's. You are so much fun. It made my night, my week, my month, possibly even the year, when you gave me your phone number. I don't know if you'll answer, if we'll meet, or if we'll go beyond friends, but I sure did have an awesome time with you. I'll always remember your brown eyes, and straight, long brown hair and how easy it is to talk to you. Who knows? I wish I did, and I wish it turns to be amazing. Only time will tell. Maybe "Hey...I know you get this all the time. You're really fun to talk to. Do you mind if I call you?" Maybe those words made history for us. Maybe they'll make history for me. At any rate, kudos to you for a great night of talking and fun!!!

Platonic friends?

A few weeks ago, I met a Hooters Girl. Always the start of a good story, right? She seems really nice. She's getting into real estate. I'm not sure exactly, what or if anything is going to come out of it. But why not? Tonight we went to a local open mic show. It turns out she likes to sing and has some talent. We hung out for a few minutes afterwards...had a good chat about life, etc. She said she had a great time. At least I think I've made a great friend. Who knew? Who knew? One day at a time, you know. I give her two thumbs up! She seems like a people person, polite, down-to-earth, respectful.

Almost falling in love again

Hello all,

I hope to start blogging a little more regularly. Work's been stressful and I've been on quite a few nice adventures in Chicago, and finding some new getaways here in Georgia. This weekend wasI've been strugging in the real of dating for a long time. I was engaged at time, and I didn't quite realize how chaotic that relationship was at the time. I just went on a nice coffee date this weekend. She's a beautiful, auburn-haired young woman. At first sight I'm sure that my eyes sparkled. And she has wonderful eyes. I could stare into them for ages and ages. After date after date resulting in no connection, this feels like it's real. I almost have to physically hold myself back from calling her or wanting to know how she's doing. She was wearing an orange t-shirt, sandals, blue shorts, and a blue and white kerchief on her head. Absolutely adorable. And we had good conversation, too. She asked me about my meetups. We talked about our spiritual backgrounds. We have some similarities, probably plenty for something long-term to work. She seems very genuine and down-to-earth. Like, like, and like! We lined up a second date for what should be a really fun dinner. One of my favorites though I don't visit often. I need to make a reservation. Stay tuned. Very excited!!!
